Welcome to Class 1!

Our topic for the second half of the summer term is 'water'. We will be looking at and learning about 'under-the-sea'; discovering the different sea creatures that live beneath the ocean. Just this week we have created our own DVD recording of a play based on the story of 'Fidgety Fish', which is set under the sea. The children have enjoyed taking on different roles and watching their acting on the 'big screen'. We are hoping to have this available for parents to buy, which will help to raise funds for our allotment project. We will also be learning about the seaside and are hoping to visit Weston-Super-Mare and the Sealife Centre to experience our topic in 'real life' terms. It promises to be a fun-packed end to the school year!
